Moist and cinnamon flavored apple and oats muffins combined
with goodness of almonds...
Ingredients:
1 red apple, finely chopped
2 tsp flour
1/2 tin condensed milk
50 gm oats
15 almonds, crushed roughly
1/4 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method:
- In a large bowl, shift wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder.
- Add oats and crushed almonds to the flour mixture.
- Now in separate bowl, beat condensed milk very well on high speed for 5-7 min.
- Mix in vanilla essence and oil and beat again to incorporate well.
- Now add flour mixture gradually and mix gently with a wooden spatula.
- Mix chopped apples and flour separately then fold gently into the batter.
- Transfer batter to the lined muffin tray at 180 degree C and bake for 20-25 min.
Love the way condensed milk is used.. Healthy muffins
