Watermelon Cooler


Beat the summer heat with Refreshing drink prepared from watermelon and lemons….



Ingredients:

1 ¾   cup watermelon juice
20-25 mint leaves, torn
1/4 cup sugar or to taste
1/4 cup water.
1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Method:

  • Muddle the mint with the sugar using a mortar or muddler.  Add the water. (You can microwave for few sec to dissolve the sugar and chill)
  • Strain the mint mixture into a vessel. 
  • Stir the mixture together with the limejuice and watermelon juice.
  • Serve with lots of ice and enjoy!

Mallow Delight with Smores


Surprise your kids or guests by serving hot chocolate milk over gooey Marshmallows…



Ingredients:

1.5 cups milk
1/2 cup water
2 tsp cocoa powder, sieved
1/2 tbsp sugar or to taste
2 - 4 marshmallows  

Method:

  • In a pan mix all the above ingredients except marshmallows.
  • Heat on medium flame while stirring continuously.
  • Boil for 2-3 times and then turn off flame.
  • Place one marshmallow in each up and pour the prepared hot milk.
  • Garnish with chocolate chips and serve hot.

 Nutri-Cracker Smores:

  • Place 2 Nutri- choice crackers on microwave safe dish, top with one marshmallow. 
  • Microwave on high for 8-10 sec or until marshmallow begin to puff, cover with chocolate slice and another cracker and serve hot.

Melon Agua Fresca


A cool and refreshing watermelon drink is best to beat the summers…
Agua fresca which means “Fresh water” are popular all over Mexico. In fact you can use any fruit you like to prepare your agua fresca.




Ingredients:

4 cups watermelon, chopped in chunks
1 -2 cups cold water or as required
2 tbsp granulated sugar or to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
Ice cubes

Method:

  • Blend all the ingredients together except ice cubes.
  • Strain the pureed mixture into a large bowl or individual glasses.
  • Refrigerate for half an hour and serve chilled with ice cubes.

Orange Honey Mojito


Refreshing drink made from oranges comes with freshness of mint and sweetness of honey...



Serves: 1

Ingredients:

2 small oranges
Juice of 1 lemon
8-10 fresh mint leaves  
1 tbsp honey or to taste
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup soda water

Method:

  • Peel and discard seeds of oranges and divide into small wedges.  
  • In serving glass, muddle mint leaves with the orange wedges, lime juice, and honey.
  • Add orange juice, soda water and ice cubes. Mix well, insert straw and serve chilled.

Mango Orange Frappe Shots


Get refreshed with sweet and tangy combination of mango and orange....



Ingredients:


1 mango, chopped into chunks
3/4 cup orange juice
1 lemon
1 ¼ cup soda
1 tsp sugar

Method:

  •  Refrigerate mango chunks for 1-2 hours. Squeeze out juices of orange and lemon.
  • Now blend together mango chunks and sugar until smooth. Add juices and blend again.
  • Add soda and ice cubes until all blended well.
  • Serve chilled in shot glasses.

Mango Banana Smoothie


Easy and yummy smoothie can be made in no time…..


Ingredients:


1 cup bananas, chopped
1/2 cup yoghurt chilled
2 cup mango, chopped

Method:

  • Blend all the ingredients in mixer on high speed till sooth consistency.
  • Pour in glasses and serve chilled with ice cubes.

Minty Iced Tea


Iced Tea- A perfect drink to get refreshed on a warm day ….



Ingredients:


1 cup black tea
2 tbsp sugar or to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
8-10 mint leaves
Lemon slice and mint sprig for garnishing
Ice cubes

Method:

  • Mix sugar in some water till dissolved, mix in lemon juice and mint leaves
  • Fill the glass with the ice cubes. Using strainer over glass, pour sugar and lemon mixture.
  • Now, pour the tea over and stir gently. Allow to cool for a while.
  • Garnish with lemon and mint and. serve chill.

Black Grapes Drink


Easy and refreshing grape drink combined tangy ginger and lemon juices…



Ingredients:

1 cup black grapes
1/2 tbsp powdered sugar or to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder (optional)
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ginger ale
Ice cubes

Method:

  • Grind grapes with 2 cups of water to a smooth texture.
  • Strain through a sieve and add the remaining ingredients except ice cubes and mix well.
  • Serve chilled with ice cubes.

Banana Vanilla Ice Cream Shake


Simple, chilled, nutritious Banana -Vanilla drink topped with chocolate syrup. 



Ingredients:


2 bananas
1/2 cup chocolate ice cream
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup water or milk
Chocolate syrup

Method:


  • Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve in individual glasses. 
  • Top with additional chocolate syrup for a chocolaty twist.

Green Mocktail

A very refreshing mocktail of khus syrup and lemon drink is the perfect cooler on a hot day…



Ingredients:

100 ml Lemon drink
2-3 table spoons of khus syrup (Poppy seeds syrup)
100 ml Drinking Soda          
2 table spoon lemon juice
pinch of salt
ice cubes
sugar(optional)

Method:


  • Put crushed ice in the glass, then add khus syrup followed by Lemon drink and top up with drinking soda. 
  • To enhance the taste add Lemon Juice to it and serve immediately.

Masala Lemonade

One of my favorite drinks in summer, its really cool and refreshing. 


Prep & Cooking Time: 10 mts
Serves 4 persons

Ingredients:

4 lemons
2 tbsp Jaljira powder
1 bottle Soda
1 cup Chilled water
1 cup Crushed ice
Sugar or Honey to taste
Lemon slices to garnish

Method:
  • Squeeze all lemons to extract juice and remove seeds.
  • Pour water into a large jug. Add sugar and stir well to the get desired sweetness.
  • Add Jaljira powder, lemon juice and crushed ice. Again stir well.
  • When ready to serve, add soda.
  • Serve in chilled glasses garnished with lemon slices.
