Savor the taste of vegetables flavored with mayonnaise and
red chilli sauce.
Ingredients:
4 bread slices, lightly buttered
1 cup tri color bell peppers, finely chopped
2 tbsp black olives
1/2 cup onions, finely chopped
1/2 cup processed cheese, grated
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp oregano
Salt and red chilli flakes to taste
Method:
- Apply a generous layer of the mayo spread on a slice of bread.
- Randomly sprinkle bellpeppers, onions, olives, and oregano.
- Cover bread slice with 1 tbsp of cheese.
- Repeat same with all bread slices.
- Cover and cook on a non-stick griddle or tawa with little oil or bake in a preheated oven at 180 oC till cheese melts.
- Cut diagonally and serve immediately.
Red chili sauce my favorite, good idea to add them in sandwiches and yes good utilization of vegetables too. Great work folk. I'm going to try them soon.
